Soft Orange flowers typical of C. Masoniorum, attractively set off against the distinctly dark Green pleated foliage.

A wholesaler called Aline Fairweather has it for distribution now, and it doesn't have PBR on it - don't know if it will have at some point. CROCOSMIA 'LITTLE REDHEAD'.
This fabulous new, sterile, dwarf Crocosmia comes from the UK breeding program of David Tristram. This little gem is one of the best Crocosmia that I have grown. Stems that rise just above the soft green sword-like leaves are topped, starting in July and continuing until September, with brilliant red-orange (RHS 41A) outfacing flowers. H. 50cm.
CROCOSMIA 'APRICOT SUPRISE'. Obtained as a large brown flowered form but turned out incorrect, but with a good sized apricot flower hence the name.
CROCOSMIA 'GOLDEN BALLERINA'.
Aurea
Ex. habitat, PBR applied for but refused on the basis the plant came into the trade from habitat collected corms. Quite a vigorous, large flowered form.
CROCOSMIA 'BURNT ORANGE'.
New plant i bought this year.. looks to me like an Orange Potssii.

Crocosmia 'Beth Chatto'. A red masoniorum hybrid Gary Dunlop once received from Beth Chatto Nurseries, he used to call it Crocosmia masoniorum ex. Beth Chatto, David Fenwick listed it as C. m. ‘Beth Chatto’ as there was no reason it shouldn’t have cv. status.
Crocosmia 'Anniversary'. Derivative of ‘Lucifer’ with a Yellow eye. Hybrid by Mark Hughes - Spinners Nursery 07720 718671.

CROCOSMIA 'ROSE QUEEN'. It is quite an unusual colour. Yellow centred, Orange flowers that turn Rose Pink in the sun. Rose Queen is technically an Earlham Hybrid. Have yet to find out the provenance for this one, or where it originally came from.
CROCOSMIA 'SHORT APRICOT'. Pottsii??? I don't really know anything about this plant....
CROCOSMIA 'ZEAL GIANT'. Rich Pale-Orange flowered. Hybrid bred by Terry Jones of Zeal Monachorum, Devon. Largest corms of any Crocosmia; like paniculata in habit but with larger flowers. Hardy.
CROCOSMIA 'BABY BARNABY'. Dwarf hybrid, one of the smallest with Chrome Yellow flowers with dark throat markings. Bred by Alan Lewis who was in charge of the nursery at Forde Abbey, Chard. Alan specialised in Crocosmia when he was there. One of the prettiest of the Yellows!!!

CROCOSMIA, 'COMET'...Combining the rich colouring of 'Westwick' with the great size of 'Prometheus' and the best of the Crimson stained varieties (Wallace 1913). 'Comet' may be descended from 'Prometeus' and has all the fine qualities of that glorious montbretia. Its colour is a little deeper, and the dark centre gives this flower an aspect of its own. The blooms are large and well formed. (Arnott 1910a), (KAVB Award of Merit, 1918).
CROCOSMIA, 'JENNINE'.Clear Yellow self-sown seedling, similar to Jenny Bloom but shorter. Flowers are smaller and presented below the stem rather than above...

First Class Certificate, Edinburgh International Exhibition, September, 1905. This must be regarded as the finest Montbretia yet raised, for not only has it large and brilliant flowers, but it grows with remarkable vigour, and flowers with a freedom that is sure to make it popular. The plants shown were three feet six inches high, and the spikes were freely branched. Each flower measured three and a quarter to three and a half inches across, and was of a rich orange colour, flushed and stained with crimson at the centre. Award of Merit, August 1st.'Gardener's Magazine, August 12th, 1905.
CROCOSMIA 'QUEEN MARY II'. Syn. Of ‘Columbus’. Pink flushed rich Apricot-Yellow flowers, deep Maroon base. The name ‘Queen Mary II’ was applied by Gary Dunlop in 1995 to a Dutch cultivar of uncertain name that resembled the original ‘Queen Mary’. It was presumably raised by Jac M. van Dijk but had arrived in cultivation in the UK under several different names. Willem Heemskerk, who bought the nursery stock from van Dijk renamed it because he was unable to identify it.

The name Crocosmia ‘Rosea’ was changed to Tritonia Disticha ssp. Rubroluscens date unknown. Although, I have done a comparison of the flowers, ‘Rosea’ is different to the Tritonia Disticha ssp. Rubroluscens. It is a smaller plant and the flowers are a slightly darker Pink.
